Vinicius Junior Considering Shock Exit from Real Madrid

Vinicius Junior’s future at Real Madrid is once again in doubt as frustration grows over his current role in the squad.

The 25-year-old winger, who has consistently scored more than 20 goals in each of the past four seasons, has struggled for regular minutes this campaign. Despite registering two goals and two assists in his first five La Liga matches, he has yet to complete a full 90 minutes.

In fact, Vinicius started on the bench twice in Madrid’s opening six fixtures, including their Champions League clash with Marseille. Although he returned to the lineup in Saturday’s 2-0 victory against Espanyol and set up a goal, he was substituted late in the game—something that clearly irritated him.

According to journalist Marcos Benito (via El Chiringuito TV), the Brazilian international is now weighing up the possibility of leaving Madrid in the January transfer window.

Vinicius remains under contract until June 2027, but negotiations over a new deal have stalled, fueling speculation about a potential departure. While Real Madrid are unwilling to sell him to other European clubs, several Saudi Arabian giants—Al-Hilal, Al-Ahli, Al-Nassr, and Al-Ittihad—are reportedly keen to sign him and are prepared to offer a salary that would rank among the highest in world football.

However, any move would be complicated. Vinicius’ current release clause stands at an eye-watering €1 billion, meaning Madrid would need to soften their stance for a deal to go through.

Since arriving from Flamengo in 2018, Vinicius has become one of Los Blancos’ most influential attackers. But unless his role under Xabi Alonso improves soon, the Brazilian’s time at the Bernabeu may be nearing its conclusion.
