[Breaking New] New Road Damage Detected Near Bangkok Sinkhole Site

Bangkok authorities reported fresh concerns this morning after detecting water seepage and swelling along Samsen Road, directly in front of Boon Rawd Brewery. The site lies just two kilometers from where a massive sinkhole appeared near Vajira Hospital on September 24.

At around 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, officials cordoned off the affected stretch of road with traffic cones amid fears of another potential collapse. Pavement in the area showed visible bulging, with water leaking through cracks on the surface.

The discovery has intensified worries over the condition of underground infrastructure along Samsen Road. It comes less than 24 hours after the dramatic sinkhole opened close to Vajira Hospital and the Samsen Police Station, raising alarms about the stability of the surrounding network.
